Team Building Events
People in every workplace talk about team building, but few understand how to create an effective team environment. At The Strand Tennis Center, we create the perfect environment to cultivate and nurture teamwork. Through a diverse array of team building activities, we provide the building blocks and skill sets for your group to succeed as a team both on and off the court.
As a member of a team, you have the opportunity to be part of something larger than yourself. With a combination of sports and fitness activities, we will show you how an effective team can produce greater results than through individual contributions. Our team building philosophy is centered on what excites the team members. Excitement, rather than happiness, resonates with team members, aiding them in identifying clear goals and objectives and enabling their actions to drive the greater good.
Achieving positive results has a lot to do with understanding the objectives of your organization. The Strand creates an environment of cohesiveness to help an organization practice techniques to find and reach goals and objectives.
Many team building events are deemed failures because leaders neglect to create clear goals. We create clarity in all of our activities that will help team members produce results and develop new skills they can transfer into the workplace. During our program, participants will learn how to identify their value proposition to the team and how to continually improve their abilities to support their particular role.
Our team building activities are an extension of our larger sports and fitness programs in which we have produced incredible results for our current group members, from weight-loss and overall health improvement to successful tournament results. Because motion affects emotion, these physical transformations and actions lead to deeper changes, including building self-esteem and self-confidence they would have never otherwise achieved
